I hate to tell you man but it sounds like you drove this engine into the ground. You will need a new engine. Sounds like to me the engine locked up. The grinding noise you are hearing is the starter grinding on the flywheel. If I was you I would sell what you have and find a nice reliable honda...

I remember reading about a 250hp - 275hp 7M-GE a few years ago. It cost the guy about 8,000 dollars to reach that point.
