    ok, could "stumble/misfire problem" be dangourus or is it just disturbing/hp reducing? So majority AEM users replace oem ignitors right away, or is it at a certain hp level these problems come up.

    I have a plug´n play AEM, but before installing I would like your AEM guys opinion. Does it work okey to use ignition-timing signal from oem cps (anything to be worried about), or should I mount a trigger-wheel. My plan is to have a boostlevel aprox 1.3-1.4bar.

    To be 100% sure the timing is ok I always check with timinglight after, and then you dont need to waste time worrying about it when you´re working. cps always comes back in some different way no matter how accurate i try (my experience).

    i found the right year for my car at a nice price... so problem solved. Now its just about puting back ct26 to pass inspection and start tuning AEM after that... bah lot of work ahead.

    I would not be worried about running lean. You will hit fuel cut before that happens. 2 things I would target on. Since you can hear no swooshing sound when you lift off throttle, likely you cant have any pressure in ic pipe. Either you have a leak in ic pipe (and they can be damn hard to find)...

    I am not sure exactly what the oem ecu does when maf signal is manipulated, but it doesnt compensate correctley and at 1.4bar timing distroyes many 7mgte engines with piggybacks.. even with enough feul etc. I was carefull not to go over 1.3bar and I started with rich a/f and cut more and more...

    So you have 19 on your pics there.. Must be quite stiff suspension. Yes I think its the best looking I´ve seen. Have you made the diffuser yourself?

    yes and you should have even less clearence problem with 18. But if I would want to lower mine more I would have to roll the fenders. I feel 18 probably is optimal for mk3.. 19 is a bit high.

    here is a pic on my rims. I have +25 with 19*9.5 and 265mm tires in the back, 8.5 in front. I now have 285mm in the back and I have not touched the fender yet, but its close. This is with eibach pro springs and koni shocks. It works good for me.

    hmmm.. ok. I got sporatic pressure first and I've heard of others with the same symptom, but ofcourse the problem can be caused by other things. well i will try to change my sender, its such a crappy location so I will wait until I take the manifoild ant turbo off.

    I have acctually had 0 reading from the same location. Iam begining to suspect its no oilpressure there.. But I have not tried the new sender in the original output. But all stuff was new and the gage and wires was tested ok though.

    garrett dont give warranty on ball bearing turbos. At least thats the info I got from dealers here. I think you have to have pretty big boostleak to damage turbo and you probably would have heard it. I have had some boostleaks without misshaps.. but ofcourse its not healthy.

    When you had the ct26 off, did you check if the w-gate closed properly. That its firmly closed and the wastegate spring still is ok to resist some pressure. Even if you take off the line from compressor the actuator can cause the problem. To be 100% sure you can secuire the arm holding the...
