this thread is old but to finalize i did in fact drill and tap the flywheel I was confused at first. it should hold just fine since the flywheel is steel. Guess this is another option for people who have the 2jzge flywheel around.
this was the plan when i had a mk3 but im now i have a na mk4 and i've decided it's best to just go aem wish work wasnt so slow i need about $3k and my car will finally be finished
I am going to go with an pnp aem series 2 here soon for my ge-t setup and would like to eliminate the ugly distributor on the front of my engine.
Now if I decide to go cop would I need to add in a crank position sensor or does the 2jzge already have one. I've always thought it did but my friend...
You could do the 7m cop swap since the coils they use are from a 2jzge anyway lol then your wires are 100% hidden and you'd still use the 7m cps which is cleaner to me then a big distributor on the front of your engine.

thats what i figured but wasn't sure if mike had us running on personal hardware or not. it always amazes me when people try to do things without the right stuff

it's an even better deal for me because I'm already in the middle of a 2jz build so i can put it here instead of the mk3. lol
it was a great trip though got to spend alot of time with my friend tony (loki2043) we dont normally get to hang tht much because he lives in portland and I'm up here...
some pictures...I'll have more tomorrow. it really just needs some door cars and for everything to be secured in the interior little things and it would be good to go...as rare as it is to fine some one who doesn't realize they have when they have a mk4 supra I think this guy really didn't...
So it been a while since I've been on here. And I have an opportunity to pick up another clean (with exception of the interior) mk4 for a great price. It's an na 5speed and as it just so happens I am building a 2jzge-t setup for the mk3. So my thought was why not pick this car up and put the...
yeah it does thats why I'm interested but i really wanna run the supra...not taking into account the paint as that is also an open thing...I also get to spend twice the cost of OEM equipment on stuff like breaks tires and wheels (which being a supra give me a quite a bit of playing room as thats...
