Ebay has them for pretty cheap. You should know that you're only gonna get the lugs on about 8 full turns. This bugged the hell out of me but I drove anyways with no issues. From what I heard(SCCA I believe) 6 full turns is the least amount to drive their course. Check to see if the wheels rub...
200$ bucks is a good deal.
I don't know what sites to check but keep searching the for sale ads and craigs. I sometimes see someone trying to get rid of them.
I didn't use any grease when installing and my shifter worked fine but I don't know for sure if grease is necessary(maybe a bit of lithium white grease on the bushing?). You should try changing your transmission fluid while you have the shifter out if it hasn't been done yet. Just a thought...
Yea purchase some wheel spacers or those project kicks spacers would be a safer alternative. I think I used 10mm spacers in the front, none for the rear. With out spacers the inside of the rim will rub the control arm on full lock when turning.
My car.
That's a pretty good shop.
Do you have a full pic with the cowl removed ? I'm just mainly curious guys. I would never do this to a MK3, unless I actually thought it turned out good but that's highly unlikely.
Is there such a thing?
I tried searching but came up empty. I'm just curious on how the MK3 would look with the cowl on the hood removed with the little extra piece on the front nose shaved off as well.
Doesn't have to be real it can be photoshop.
Damn that's fast...:biglaugh:
But really don't be ashamed to lose to a Lancer. My first Supra was NA so I know how ridiculously slow a NA MK3 is.
No offense to NA owners...
Oh and Lancers are slow as hell!
I didn't mention it to make it seem like I was proud of it. I was young at the time and stupid enough to actually risk $10 bucks. I use to hang out with a bunch of Honda dudes who would do this sort of stuff all the time and I guess from them, stupidity got to me. I'll admit I am a POS scumbag...
