    Stutters at high RPMs...

you can still build boost with a leak depending on how big it is. I though you should be making more than 7psi with a ddp though, maybe even hit fc, anyone else? btw, at what rpm are you spooling to full boost

    Electrical Connectors

i soldered all my wires directly and later regreted it when it was time to upgrade to different fuel managment. My recommendation is to instead use disconnect type connectors, soldered or cimped, and isulated. For the maf wire you have to cut, use a male on one side and a female on the other to...

Getting nitrous bottle powdercoated? any problems?

nos is the equivalent of saying rpm instead of revolutions per minute. nothing wrong with that, imo. if they say "i want two of the big bottles" then you can show them what the fingers said to the face. powdercoat coat cures at 350f or less, so unless it's a composite bottle, the process wont...

    suspension recs?

koni is the next best choice to a full coilover suspension. you're right, there's a tab that can be adjusted with the knob they provide (knob is only used to adjust, it doesnt stay on there all the time). The only problem with them is they dont use a clicking mechanism, theres just two turns...

Getting nitrous bottle powdercoated? any problems?

i believe the quote is "bottles are for babies, real men get blown" pun intended ;) call the manufacturer and ask what is required to replace the valve assy. without it, its just a metal cylinder. no danger whatsoever. theres a number of companies that sell the valves separately so I don't...

    divorced turbo discharge flange

thanks for the links, they helped a lot :) if i cant find any I may end up having them made. I work with a lot of metal precision shops so I can get faily cheap prices on machine work. obviously, the higher the qty, the cheaper the price, so would anyone be interested if i had some made...

PDA logging cable that plugs into car's diagnostic port?

I have no knowledge in these things but I came across this,http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NISSAN-Consult-240SX-180SX-S14-S13-SR20DET-SR20DE-KA24_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6755QQitemZ4621603756QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW on another forum and this caught my attention: original thread...

Not Supra but a boosted car problem

ok i can see we're on the same page ;) i didnt see anything mentioned about a tuning device in the previous post so I assumed you meant bigger injectors + the fpr posted, alone, would do the trick. btw, duty cycle is a function of pulse width, if one changes, so does the other ;)

    Teflon on NPT...?

i dont see a pm button, maybe you have to have a certain amount of posts to pm? so just a male to male right?

    pump gas?

yep, called the adiabatic process http://www.stealth316.com/2-adiabat1.htm grim, youre right, 30psi from a smaller turbo produces similar heat as 30psi from a larger turbo, however since the smaller turbo takes more psi to make the same power, at the same power levels, the larger turbo will...

Not Supra but a boosted car problem

maybe i'm missing something, but I dont understand the logic of using a fpr to control bigger injectors. supracentral already explained that a 1:1 really doesnt add (or decrease) fuel based on load, it equalizes the pressure differential between the manifold.and fuel rail. the only thing you...

Not Supra but a boosted car problem

if youre basing a/f off a narrowband sensor/gauge, 14:1 would likely show as rich, obviously you need to be much richer for boost, hell even n/a check your plugs and see if youre really rich. my guess, like others have mentioned is your pump is not flowing enough at that high pressure

Your guide to drag strip success w/pics.

this takes a bit more practice, but you can prespool the turbo in your manual by holding the ebrake up (preloading the drivetrain, i think someone mentioned it). a little more wear on your clutch but its easier on the tranny itself since it eliminates the slack between gears/shock when you...
