I have the Koyo aluminum radiator. I bought it because I was able to get in on the group buy and I knew I'd be moving to Arizona. My only complaint at this point is the lower bolt hole for the condenser fans doesn't line up.

You might be interested in reading this thread, sounds like you have similar goals. A stock head gasket should be fine for under 10 psi, but I don't think you're going to hit 300 hp with just that...

This isn't consistent with what I've been seeing, but there could be something else wrong with my cooling system (though I think I've replaced every component in it by now). Do you have a dedicated temperature gauge or are you just going by the stock one?

I don't think this is true. When I had electric fans the car would overheat on the highway if the high speed didn't kick in.

The hole is about 9 mm in diameter. It looks like there used to be a threaded part attached to that hole, so it's not like it's just stripped, the threaded part is gone completely. The diameter of the hole in the tie-down bracket is also 9 mm, so if I thread it for bigger it won't fit through...
