I found the problem last night. In the main engine wiring harness where it runs across the egr valve tube it was shorting out. On saturday we are going to cut open the harness and fix the wires that have been rubed through. Thank you for all of your help with this issue. Ryan

Ok I have Finger11's Car at my house. Checked codes got code 11 cleared codes drove for around with it acting up and no codes. We have replaced spark plugs, wires, and fuel filter. I put on my cap and rotor (less than 500 miles) mass airflow sensor, cold air intake, and checked all vac lines...

I have 87 7mge in my celica. The car takes off just fine but when I hit 4000 RPM the car pulls hard. Is this normal for this motor? or is there something wrong. Thanks Ryan

I have the stock cat and 2 1/4 to a 40 series flowmaster. Nice and quiet, but still has the flowmaster sound.

I got the bolt out. I used a breaker bar and a hammer.

Yes I dug all the sludge out, when I was taking all of them out I has tapping the allen all the way down. I also was thinking of the torx. Thank you for the help I'll let you know how it goes.

I have an overflow. I use the 50/50 mix. I ran a compresson check and I have a bad head gasket, and a stripped allen head bolt. See my other post. Thank you all for your help.

I dopped it off. When He went to pull it in the shop my battery died so we pushed it in. I showed up before they finished.

It was running fine before I got the exhast and when I first left the muffler shop. It started starving about a block from my house. I do need to check the timming.

Is there two sensors? I only have one that goes in the manifold.

I have a 77 celica with a 7mge. I got the exhaust done today, when I push on the gas it wants to die it seems like it is not getting enough gas. I took off the stock fuel filter and put in an in-line filter. The filter stays full of gas.

good news I got it started. I had a loose wire at the distributor. Thanks for your help

All my grounds are hooked up on the intake. the coil and ignitor are grounded. I have power at the ignitor. I have all the wiring diagrams printed out.
