ive ran 87 octane in my supra a turbo running 13psi with no pinging at all just the same amount of kick with 92 octane.

i would personally choose a 7M motor over a 1j or 2j i just feel in my opinion that they have more potential.

I got my supra at the age of 16 years old turbo five speed with a couple bolt on's.

i removed the powersteering from my car and i absoulutely love it. and keep in mind i find it not hard at all to drive the car without it. and im a scrawny 17 year old haha..

not to act like i know everything but isnt it smart when you build a motor to use assembly lube to coat all the bearings and what not and not just use motor oil?

you used castrol gtx motor oil to assemble it?? if so that was not a smart choice on your part you should have used some assembly lube.

shouldnt that at least have a block of plate on it? unless its blocked from the rear of the head.

i bet you anything its a boost leak is what it sounds like especially since you can here the whirling sound of the turbo...... or it might be the MAF it might have taken a crap on you

are you sure its not a hose? mine was from the hose being spilt justa little bit

first off blown struts i highly dought im going ot have them like that but i thing cutting only 1 coil off is perfectly fine. then if i do end up blowing my struts then ill just guess i will have to fork out the money to go and buy some new ones but id rather not spend the money and save it...
