Ordered and got 2 cans of R12, can of oil and set of used gauges. Went to check pressure and :cry: the last owner converted to R134a. Threw a can of R134a and a can of oil and it works. Can I go convert back to R12? How do I get the oil out? What do I change?

Got the cock assembly off. The brass plug head is chewed up but will still hold water. What do I use to seal the cock ass.? I have the liquid thread sealant that is used in place of Teflon tape. It says its for steam, are natural gas, so it should be ok for the cock ass, right?

The drain plug will not turn but the drain cock does. Do I just remove the drain cock assembly and remove the plug off the vehicle? What do I seal the cock assembly with? OR should I just tighten up the cock and leave well enough alone?

The joint of metal pipe off the heater is leaking. When I installed the heater core I used a new gasket and put a bit of sealant on the pipe. It must of got tweaked a tad at installation. Can I remove the clip that holds the pipe together without removing the heater core? I should ask, will...
