Was cruising home yesterday and spotted a Silver '86-'88 MK-III cruising on 59 South and exiting Highway 6. Just figured you might be be on here. Clean car, I really like the kit!

Be a little more specific about what you are trying to accomplish. You could either go with a 61mm turbo or a 92mm turbo. The difference? About 800 hp and around $15-20k in just the motor alone.

Coming from an MK-IV owner, wait to find the exact car you want as you want it. I bought my TT auto thinking that I would just convert it to 6-speed later. Looking back, it would have been cheaper for me to find a 6-speed car.

Great to meet some of you guys last night. I was in the red MK-IV talking with a few of you about the "old days". :hs: Anyway, that T04R 1JZ was damn quick on the run that I saw down in Mexico this evening. Great to see H-Town with some cars that can represent with TX2K8 coming in March...

For tools that I'm going to beat up on and will likely fail, I get the replacement warranty. It's anywhere from $6-$12 (depending on purchase price) and well worth it, IMO. Beats shipping back to the manufacture for them to honor their warranty.
