So here's the Zankoku Performance Stealth Attack Supra. Its come a long way from its point of origin but there's still much more to go. Follow her progress!
I never really kept any track of what i've done since I never intended to start a build thread, its so cliche. But I did it on another forum, so here's a shot. Here's several segments wrapped into one

A long time ago, another time, another life

NASA wouldn't let me in because I have bad bushings & steering rack, although this day on the track exhibited NO poor handling symptoms AT ALL

Being left out by the NASA haters only leave me with these open track days. Soon bushings, soon. Need a radiator also

these bushings just arrived compliments of Energy Suspension. Some prototype bushings to run in the stealth attack. Now if I can just get the dealership to sponsor a steering rack the Supra will be ready for NASA!! :D

Here's the latest update. I just picked up a "Donor" car from San Jo for $200.

Its tranny will be used in a project 280Z we're gonna be doing here soon and there's a few things I can canabalize like its Suspension Technique Sway bars and Steering rack.

Now with a good steering rack all that is left is to install the Energy bushings and its NASA-Ready!

l_5b824a72c41ff5f5aeb653e0bca503c6.jpg

Time to get serious. Weapon R (formerly) SFI approved harnesses ought to sneak past NASA officials
l_a098a823d15b2c756b1e9bf1615a7dfb.jpg

Now I just need to get a Kirkey seat in there and I will be fabricating the harness bar from Bataif's salvage metal yard FTW!

The quick release will make getting in and out of the car through the window much easier

So why would you climb in a window exactly? Also, making a harness bar from scrap metal? Uh...

EDIT: Just noticed I kinda sound like an ass. I don't see a cage (or anything else) that would make it hard to open the door normally and sit right down (although a quick release would still help with that if you have long legs). Second part just seems like a safety concern to me.

I need to get out the window when the car is on the trailer. Since its low I cant open the door since it doesnt clear the trailers wheel wells. And as for the harness bar. Its not like junk scrap metal. Bataifs is a salvage yard that takes in all kind of spare metal. That have aluminum plating, aluminum blocks, aluminum sheets, steel sheets, diamond plate, etc. A fellow autocrosser built his harness bar out of steel brackets and an aluminum bar, like the kind of bar GReddy makes it strut tower bars out of, but a little thicker. Explanations dont do it justice. only pics once its done

Well since the last time we spoke here are the current updates:

We developed a radiator pipe kit cheaper and better than Cooleze's deal because it comes w/ T bolts. The pipe will have flared edges to prevent the couplers from wiggling loose, even though it fits tightly and has T Bolts

So here's the old radiator hose. Good for nothing but blowing off
l_4930de2ae0b527557b6b01ce65551290.jpg

So I use Vibrant stainless steel piping for the new radiator pipe
l_7f585e850598b1359e23fb7d6b6b7ea4.jpg

Here's the segment used.... mandrel bent
l_47cca9d8bf36af0ac7ad5873e4504d5c.jpg

Everything in the kit is here. Stainless rad. pipe, 2 Vibrant silicone couplers & 4 Tbolt clamps (only have 2 bolts in the pic because the other pair were out of stock)
l_d0364001ce1f1176308946de016c6899.jpg

Now Tbolts may seem like over kill but having had this thing blow off 3 TIMES on me, I didnt want there to even be the possibility a coupler would blow. So the kit comes with 4 Tbolt clamps, but if worm clamps are so desired they can be substituted for $7 off the price.
Our pipe kit is cheaper than Cooleze and comes with T bolts! $60 full kit

Well I said it would happen and here they are finally. The Supra's new Wilwoods are here finally. I must say the pics dont do this kit justice at all. These rotors are HUGE! 13" and 1.38" thick. Words wont give you the depth either. Get a tape measure out and see just how big that is. And those forged aluminum calipers weigh less than the stock POS's!

Definately ARZ's kit! These things kick monstrous @$$. What I thought was funny was how the gigantor 4 piston caliper of awesomeness weighs probably half what the tiny 1 pitson gay stock caliper weighs, lol

Havent done NASA yet. There were tech issues keeping me out. Bushings, which were remedied by Energy. Steering rack, which will be rememdied by my parts car. And not a tech issue, but a personal issue, the definate LACK of a decent braking system.

More brake pics:

Stock parts are only good for SCRAP
