my motor was rebuilt about 4 years ago and at the same time i had a toyota head gasket torqued down to 75 ft/lbs with ARP bolts. I probably put about 45 000 km since the rebuild and everything is fine.
Well i'm upgrading to a 57 trim ct-26 with all the necessary fuel mods. I don't plan on crazy power but i would like to see atleast 15 PSI. My mods currently allow me to hit 12+ PSI and then fuel cut but with a stock ct-26.
Is this just a recipe for disaster?? i know some people have arguments for both sides and if i could i would pull the motor, lap the block, machine the head and seal them with a MHG. But i don't have the space, time or resources to do such a project myself.
