Whats the diference in the 90+ rear bumpers ?

Ive been looking at some hitches to put on my car to pull my bike with and for some reason there are very different hitches listed for 90-92 vs 87-89.

I wasnt aware of any differences in the undercarriage or rear bumper that would require a different setup. My car is an 89 and of course I like the hitch for the 90+ better --

anyone have any idea if it would fit ?

The rear bumper was the same 86.5-92, not aware of any differences to the undercarriage either, other than the added bracing on the rear subframe.

Was a towhook also an option from the factory? Cause one guy here has a supra with one, or is it ''custom'' ?

Yeah IJ has a tow hitch on his Supra, you might ask him what his opinion is.

Valge, as I know in Europe it was option, because I know few Supras in Lithuania which have tow hooks with TOYOTA stamps on them Tho I dont know about usdm supras...

So it sounds like eveyone agrees that there should be no diffreence and that either hitch should fit my 89

yep all rear bumpers will interchange, however...........
the rear mudflap mounts are different

there are little brackets which are riveted into the bumpers that the mudflaps bolt to and they have slightly different bolt patterns pre 89 - 89+
