Everyday when I fire up my 91 in the morning and head out for the drive to work (a little less than 10 miles) and every stop i have to make the car will stumble down to 500 lope for a bit then stall ...fires right back up and takes off but about 3/4 of my trip is over it becomes fine and when i go to lunch or home in it its fine. Almost like it hates the cold air or something??

Any ideas
BJ

Possible idle air control valve. Mine used to do that, i cleaned it out, and now not a prob. THey do go out on Toyotas a lot so its possible a cleaning can help it, or not

Couple of things that should be temperature related that you can check...

The BVSV that controls the line from the charcoal canister to the intake. When the engine is cold, you should not be able to blow through it.

The vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator... it should have no vacuum when the engine is cold, and switch to vacuum when the engine is warm.

And this is a longshot, but try unplugging the cold start injector switch on the thermostat housing and see if it behaves properly as well.

I've had the same thing when I had vacuum leaks in the intake system. The exhaust oxygen sensor isn't up to temperature yet, so the car runs off stored fuel maps, and has no way to know what is going on.

There is tons of plumbing there, spray carb cleaner on all the connections while idling, see if the RPM changes (you'll be able to hear it) when you spray on certain connections.
