why do you make your supra fast?

So I am under my car and I pull a smooth one on myself and hit myself in theface with my driveshaft. As I am sitting there in pain the thought crosses my mind....Why?

So SM why do you guys do it? For the love of speed...for drag racing.....autocross.....drift.....fun.....any other reasons?

I do it for that feeling of accomplishment. A project completed and a job well done are some of the reasons. Also nothing compares to that feeling you get from a boosted motor when the lag ends and it sucks you into the seat and you look down at the triple digits on the speedo and go opps.

or when you drive by an outdoor resturant and you see all of the kids just staring at you. I want my car to be "known" around where i live, i want people to FEAR my car. Not just drive up next to me thinkin there hot shit, i wanna crush them. haha

ever since my dad took me to work when he was in the army i have loved motors. the first motor i had ever see was a Detroit diesel v16 generator. this thing was big!! so big they measurement the displacement in cu. feet. lol. from that day i know i wanted to do anything with motors. there is nothing like busten your hands up and cursing your head off, and then at the end of the day saying cant wait to do this in the morn. i do it for the love of it. and speed is like sex.
