Why do Macs suck?

THATS GREAT I use to have a mac and hated every second of it.

Yeah that was great. OS 9 was a joke. OS X isn't too bad, mainly because I can get to a command prompt and use linux/unix commands so at least I feel a little more at home. But yeah I can remember thinking exactly what that guy was saying, when working on an older Mac.
well if u hate mac, srry cause Bill and steve are teaming up to make a virtual OS.

Its either gona come out either really shitty or really bad ass we will have to wait and see, so will mac and windows software both work on this one OS.
I remember posting something about that in the 0wned thread a long time ago - something about Macs soon to be using Intel/x86 architecture based processors.

Yep they have commercials saying something like, The intel chip will be set free...on a Mac.

It's funny cause everything he mentioned is why I can't stand windows computers.
The new mac computers use intel chips. IBM couldn't produce enough chips to keep up with apples production. The new computers arefaster then anything I've ever seen and since they run the same chip, there is speculation about being able to run the next version of windows on a mac.

the reason why they use intel isnt becasue IBM couldnt produce enough chips. its because the proccessors they were using couldnt be put into laptops without overheating and consuming too much power, so they went for the better designed x86 architecture 
You need a MAC for graphic design - me being a designer, I'm stuck with them. I hated macs, until OS10 - now they're getting up there on my list. PC is still my fav, so much more you can do, gaming, etc - but since the printers all want mac-based files, with mac-fonts, we use macs to design here where I work.
You should see my machine...it's smaller than a toaster. It's the mac mini, it's the size of 5 cd-cases stacked up.

this is also another reason macs have been switched over to the x86 architecture.
