ET=estimate trap in drag lingo...do you want to know what size tire is recommended? How much power are you putting out? What driveline mods have you done? Suspension mods? Looking for best 60' times or just something stickier than street tires?

ET = elapsed time (not quite sure how it applies here though)

Breth, most guys use Weld wheels. Usually the "Draglites" or the "Prostars".

15x8" with 5.5" BS, along with a 26x10.5x15 ET street or 26x8.5x15 ET drag will work nicely.

All that can be found at www.jegs.com or www.summitracing.com

I can't find anything that will fit over my big brakes...that is somewhat reasonably priced. You?

Also, it will depend on how hardcore racing you do IMO to see whether it is worth it to go with badass rims like that. I am sporting the sawblades with slicks for now :biglaugh:

Thats what you get for putting big brakes on there!!

You may want to look into the CCW drag package like alot of the mkiv guys Duane....Im not sure theres much else that will work with bigger brakes.

even most of the high HP mk4 guys still sport NA rear brakes to clear the rims. I still like stock saw blades, and for most mk3's they will be more than fine for up to 10.00 et's

so what are the biggest wheels/ tires you can go with on the rears without having to tub out the back end. i was looking for something on the 15in rim, but what is the fattest and largest sidewalled tire & fattest rim you could do on the mk3?

LOL nice comment Jason :biglaugh:

Hey! I would rather go a little slower and have my car sit level. Not like a 4x4 :icon_razz

How much the set run you? and I assume you can't lower that as they look like they stick out.
