Hello all. I in need of some help. I have a 91 mk3 with a 1jz. I came across a thread on clubna-t.com and i found out that i can get a single turbo kit for about 1600 shipped with tax. Now the other problem is that im not rich like borris and keep on changing rims, infact i dont really have any rims. Soooooooo it come down to this, single turbo kit for the 1jz or rims? :biglaugh:

you have the stock 5 spokes, so you're safe...

if it was sawblades I'd tell you get the wheels, but get the turbo kit!

how good are your current tires and rims? if they dont grap that good..then wut good is a upgraded turbo if u cant put the power to the floor. If i had to upgrade my car all over again from the beginning, i would do all the mods related to handling first before i try and make more power. But if your tire stick, your suspension is good, and your car stops well, then i'd say get the turbo.

I bought rims when faced with this problem. My car works well as it is and the supporting mods for that "turbo kit" was more than I wanted to spend at the time. I am very happy with my rims. lol
