Hey i just wanted to know what would it take to beat a hatchback with a stock b-16??? Would a N.a be able to do it.....

i had and 87 na auto tranny. i raced a stock b 16 with no cat. he beat me on a querter mile but only by like half a cars lenth.chris717 said:

I ran a K20 hatch last weekend with my GT4088 supra.
Got em by 3-4 cars.
Soooooo I'd guess a B16 hatch would be much easier.
I'm also guessing bolt ons. :dunno: hehe.

Oh, I've never been in a NA supra.
I don't know what it takes to get them in the 14's.

intake, header, test pipe, exhaust, and hope you can drive better than him...
if all else fails, stuff his ass off the road with your tank gran turismo style...

id dig race him if you launch right you can prolly pull a car maybe 2 on him in first gear alone then itll be all about holding him off.

make sure your suspension and tires are good if you plan on racing from a stop, my Supra wheel-hops like it's cool and all the other cars are watching her, envying her low-rider hops, when in reality it looks stupid and I'm sure it's fucking something up...

Intake/Exhaust with a healthy 7mge 5spd will own plenty of civics all day. Stock..... ehhhhh depends on the civic/drivers

i've beaten an RSX type S that had an exhaust when i had my N/A..I had an intake and exhaust. I was ahead by half a car length from the launch and stayed that way til i hit 4th gear..i was creeping away after that.
