what I drive when the supra's down

Just picked up this gem off of some crazy supra nut. You guys might know 'em

The " aby supra" as it is known as, had a dead cylinder. It sorta ran, but overheat like a mofo. The breaks were non functional after rusting out from sitting so long but would that stop me? NO! Nursed this beast for 50km, in 30 deg C weather, stop and go traffic, heater blasting to prevent it from overheating all the way to a ferry. Get on a ferry, and another 70km to my house.

Then, one fine weekend a friend and I rebuilt this little dream into the beauty she is. New exhaust valves, lapped intake valves, new gaskets, brembo rotors and pbr pads, new fluids and fired it up!

She's a dream and a great little commuter car. Thanks Duane! :beer:

HA! I had a Tercel 2 door coupe that was my "parts getter".
It was'nt a looker or hot-rod,but it fired right up and got me where i needed to go.
It reminded me of those little Italian taxi cabs

I miss the supra, oh yes. But nobody looks down on a University student rockin' out the beater =D
