I can sense your obious sarcasm, by the way. I do appreciate all the advise. I just will hate to use that old ass rusty looking, heavy ass harmonic balancer! Why would these companies SELL you a product that will cause catastrophic failure? I don't get that.

There's your answer, they have no skin in the game if you engine goes boom. Not likely your going to buy two crank pulleys even if it worked and CX isn't known for making overly high quality anything.

ATI is your only option if you don't want to run the stock one. As stated its not about balance or weight its about absorbing the harsh vibrations that are transferred to the crank and consequently your mains and everything else.

got some overnight parts from japan... lol.

they are metal o-rings that go between the turbine housings and exhaust manifolds on the 1jz, which no one stocks in the states.

Very nice love how JZs sound.

I finally got done with fixing my power steering high pressure hose using the driftmotion steel braided line I just wish they angled the fittings better to make it easier to thread onto the AN fittings. I left my old high pressure on the car because I was just exhausted and sore and didn't want to deal with loosening the steering rack and all that, so I'll just cut sections of it and pull it out when I can it's messed up anyway.

Took the old girl out for a drive last night after fixing the power steering line I've been driving the JDM one for awhile. I forgot how fast my white one is and how much of an animal it feels I missed it I also missed brake boosting in first and end up doing a corvette style burnout lol.

Installed my C's short shifter that I bought from AaronB. I love how it feels it is weird that shifting up is slightly longer than shifting down but that isn't a con in my opinion just a quirk. I see why people rave about these shifters they are awesome.

C's shifter is great, I wish I can find out where to get the rebuild parts for them. At times shifting can be very notchy.

I've been pretty busy with the old girl lately. My 1988 Supra is my DD but since I am in the Navy and live on base I have had some time to get some stuff done. Not to mention finally being able to afford to. Hooyah Navy.

So here is a list of everything I have done to the car the last couple weeks:

1) Rewired my radio and my 12V plug.

2) Installed new Hood Struts and Hatch Struts. I have been using the "Supra stick" since I bought the car 5 years ago and saying goodbye to it was a real pleasure.

3) Replaced the those rubber bumpers that go on the rear hatch to prevent it from creaking when you drive. I got them off driftmotion and they were well worth the money. For the first time in 5 years there is no noise from the hatch.

4) Had the driveshaft center support bearing and U-joints done. It's like night and day driving now. Also had a small leak at the retainer gasket fixed, then had the r154 serviced with Castrol synthetic 75w90. LSD with Lucas 80w90.

5) Installed the marlin crawler shift socket(the stock one was completely missing) and marlin crawler shifter bushing. My god, its like driving a different car. Anyone who hasn't done so should install both of these parts. Shifter went from sloppy as a white girl wasted, to tight and firm.

6) Replaced driver front wheel bearing, both front lower ball joints, and both front upper control arms.

7) Lastly, this weekend I plan to install the "$300 BBK" Heavyman posted a thread about. I have all the parts ready to go. I'll make sure to post the results.

Fixed my mistakes today.

-New oil lines didnt allow the sandwich plate to stay flush against the block in the position I had it. Spewed out oil in the first attempt to start the reassembled motor. It's been rotated and now I have to relocate the oil cooler.

-Corrected the misplaced Ground.

-Changed the hood and hatch shocks. I got tired of hitting my head every time I accidentally bumped the pvc pipe I was using.

-Replaced the completely rusted out nose and driver fender.

Not usually a huge fan of non structural/functional carbon fiber but that looks great. Extremely clean looking and almost like it could have been factory with the lettering. Nicely done

Is it an actual cf layup or some type of wrap?
