Got my new parts for different style oil cooler setup :D
No more full flow cooler w/ 10ft of lines before oil gets to engine.
Using stock oil filter housing w/ cooler pressure relief removed and plugged.
Separate thermostatically controlled pump/cooler/filter/assembly, all 1 unit & all aluminum. :D
Feed and return directly to pan, only turns on when necessary, should work nicely.

Another vote for Centric. I use their cryo treated slotted rotors with stoptech pads. Very consistent, good pedal feel, but some vibration under hard breaking. Less bite than EBC yellows with the same rotors, about the same amount of dust... Rockauto has an ebay store where you can sometimes pick up their stock for a bit less. Carpartkings I think is one of their seller names. Just get the part# and paste into the ebay search box. As long as you know what your looking for, you can sometimes find a good deal.

Finally got this back today from Marlin Crawler. Will probably outlast the car.

I picked up my seats after having new leather covers installed. I washed the car and took a couple pics. My car is finally back on the road after sitting for a few years!

My 8kg swift springs came in today but I also caught a flu and I am not going to do suspension work or even work on the car while sick because my brain does not work clearly while I am sick. I'd end up putting a jack stand on the roof of the car expecting it to hold it up lol.

I quickly recovered from my illness and put the springs on and my god what a world of difference it made. Went from solid suspension in the rear to actual suspension lol I still need to fine tune it but it's so much more comfortable now.

Took the sup on its first real road trip since the rebuild. Went up to Clingman's Dome, highest point in the Smokies. Took the same trip back in '09, car overheated. This time, no overheating! :icon_bigg My investments in heat control really paid off! The A340e still gets very hot, despite the tranny cooler. I could hardly touch the shift bezel, both in the mountains and while cruizin' the freeway at 80.

Fuel economy has been pretty good. Been doing 19 around town, hit 25 on the freeway (70-80mph, no cruise). I have been running premium in it.

I had a young couple pull up next to me at a gas station. They said they were wondering what kind of car that was..Even more disturbing was the conversation I had with the clerk at the hotel during check-in:

Clerk with pen: "Make and model of car you are driving?"
Me: "Toyota Supra"
Clerk: "What was that?"
Me: "Toyota Supra"
Clerk: "How do you spell that?"
Me: "S-u-p-r-a"
:nono:

I wish these kits came with instructions and labeled parts I was confused on the piping that goes behind the bumper and the pipe from the turbo to the intercooler confused me because I had it on backwards lol. It took me a lot longer than it normally would because I kept mixing up couplers for the turbo cold side to intercooler they are very similar, so at first glance while they were wrapped up I thought they were the same size until I started putting the pipe on and it was just a mess.
