Did you get the steering bushings off of ebay? They look like the same ones I got, and they have been going fine for about a year now.

Yes, ATF is automatic transmission fluid. Here's the thread a made on mine when I added the filter. http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?182119-Mobil-1-ATF-in-Power-Steering/page2

You are going to need alot of brake cleaner to clean out the reservoir and screen. The stuff was really caked on there in mine.

No not brake fluid, brake cleaner. I wouldn't put brake fluid in there.

That's what I meant, my dad doesn't want to use ATF so I'm making him read your thread lol

Haha, you are definitely supposed to use ATF, like Backlash said, it says Dexron on the cap.

Ever thought of masking off the backup lights to keep the white for contrast or do you think you would prefer the way you have them now?

Ya i've thought about it but i like this look. only difference i would make would be a bit lighter. that, and throwing in LEDS in all the sockets.

Well this morning my MK3 decided to go ape shit when I tried remote starting it then it would not start at all, got it jumped and left it hooked up for 5 min and it struggled to turn over but managed to drive it to an auto parts store to change the battery and that did not solve the power from shutting off when turning the key. Towed her home then went to town on cleaning the cables at the terminals first hoping that would solve the problem and sure enough she fired right up.

I can do a full pull at half throttle, boost at about 5-6 psi.. and when I go full throttle 10 psi it stutters and sounds like I'm hitting anti lag.. without the flames lol

Did you check plug gap? if so what is it set to? doesn't make much sense to me if it ran fine before. Maybe you need to swap CPS's back out, or retime the cps.
Did you get the cps in right? and did you use a timing light to adjust it after it was in?

Plug gap is at .028, and timing is set to 10* btdc, te1 and e1 jumped

The only thing I can think of is if the wires are corroded on the inside and have too much resistance, or they are shorting to ground somewhere
