I was wondering if i can fix it. The filter or what ever it is came off. Or do i have to buy another one.

I've tried that but it wont stay on. Is there suppose to be a o-ring inside of it or something.

i fixed it just had to think outside the box used a bit of vacuum hose

i have one more question. I'm not too sure if i had them in the right spot. The one on the left i had toward the front of the engine and the one on right i had toward the back was i correct or am i mistaken.

So they are. Sorry, don't see too well these days. It'll happen to you.

Since the valves operate the same way it doesn't matter where they go. I'm guessing the one with the longer mounting tab is for the EGR. That'd be to the rear.

Yep you can mount either one in either spot. They have the same harness and do the same thing. Yes I have had them in both spots on my 7m. I can personally verify that they both work in either spot.

If anything from the pic posted you have 2 of the same ones. IIRC one has the mounting flange turned 90 degrees from the other. Let me look.

EDIT: Yep I was correct, you have 2 VSV's for the fuel pressure raise/up or what ever you call it( I forget), it opens if the motor is about something like 180 degrees on start up.

what is that called? I hear a massive amount of air coming out of that little black cap. im guessing its not suppose to leak like that
