Stock CT26? Over 15 psi and you're asking for trouble. Although, my friend is running 18-20 psi on his. I keep telling him he's crazy.

Fuel cut can vary. There's so many variables. Even temperature and humidity can affect it.

One of my friends runs 20+ PSI on race gas and 15 on pump gas on his 6-1 trim CT-26 and hes had it on his car over 5 years. I thought it was a crazy bad idea too till he told me its been on there for 5 years and there was still almost no shaft play. I was AMAZED.

Fuel cut is SO GAY. Temp and Humidity will definitly effect your Fuel Cut. Sometimes i can floor my car build all 12 psi (57trim) and just haul ass, other times it gets to 10 psi and starts bucking. Damn you weather density!

Assuming a 60-1 trim in a CT26 case. 15lbs psi is average.

STOCK CT26 no more then 15 PSI. Most stocks out there are running on its last leg, so upping the boost will only sign its death cert.

Doesn't fuel cut happen when it determines how much air coming past the AFM? Because when i hit fuelcut most the time my cars still pig rich in the 10's.

It's based on volume, ie: WG hose comes off Turbo runs away provides xx flow engine shuts down before exploding and spitting the crank and rods all over the road.

Even with the MoTeC I run a form of boost cut to save engines.

Anything above 15psi you'll be well out of its efficiency you'll be losing turbo life and gaining heat. Personally I wouldn't take it above 12psi.

Do not attempt to use the lexus afm without 550 injectors and some kind of piggyback controller. The intercooler will help a little because of the higher efficiency of the intercooler which will disapate the heat better. So far as turbos goes what power level do you want to attain? A wideband is always a good idea too.

I fear boost cut lol, Last time i hit fuel cut in my car, i seen my gauge creep to 15psi right before i hit... the feeling of hitting a brick walls isn't the greatest thing ever. But it saves the motor.

Like everyone said over 15... really 14.5 is out of efficiency and it turns into a hair dyer.

The % increase from the stock maf to the lexus maf is about the same % increase from 440's to 550's. The piggyback is just to have more control of the fuel so that tune to more optimal air fuel ratios thats why I said you need a wideband.

DAM REALLY so no maf ?from sc400?

That's not what he is saying....if you want the lex afm you're gonna need other shit also such as..

1. Lex afm
2. Bigger fuel pump
3. Adjustable fuel pressure regulator such as "aeromotive a1000"
4. Piggy back fuel controler
5. 550 cc low imp injectors
6. Wideband afr guage
7. Jtube bypass

etc

For 350-400whp 57trim ct-26 upgrade is probably the most available and probably the cheapest. I personally like a sp61 turbo which will give you over 400whp with supporting mods. The point is if you put the bigger maf on without the 550 injectors you will run way to lean.
