A new pump shaft will likely be a bit larger on the journals.
It would be very difficult to replace the bearings with the motor in the car...the rear one, damn near impossible. That's why I was asking the questions
If you can measure the bearing clearances, that will tell you where you stand.
Alright, I will look into measuring the clearances, I gotta find a tool to do it.
Also, I can feel little hairline marks on the oil pump shaft.
I think they were from when I was pulling it out.
Could that be a problem?
They are like 3 or 4 lines going across the shaft area. From front to back, instead of around the surface. I guess they might be removed if I get it polished.
Any suggestions on how to remove the bearing?

UPDATE:
Replaced oil pump shaft, now oil pressure is much better.
Cold start 80psi.
I put some load on the motor when it was semi warm, oil pressure went up to 110psi.
When warm and cruising around 45psi.
