I Know........and it didn't even sound like one.jk

Very Nice runs............Good luck getting into the 11's

I was very impressed with how nicely done your car is. It's very clean. You should do a sig to show it off, even though it's not a Supra. Just be sure to mention somewhere in the sig...........Your dream of one day owning a Supra........haha........you know it's true.

LOL forced torque. I've worked on a few mk3's and one mk2. I helped racer on his car alot. I love the supras..

As far ast he 11 goes. If i can get my 60ft down this weekend with the drag radials. I'll get them with my current setup. Also still running a stock nissan clutch, for now.

Good times.. And good luck with your VQ staying healthy. Do you know how much power you are making? I would guess about 400rwhp.

It's making 390/327. The motor is really healthly. The vq35 is a good motor as long as it's taken care of. The vortech s/c kit is one of the best kits for the vq

Nice looking times, but they could undoubtably be lowered with some quicker 60' times. The MKIII is no easy car to cut really low 60 footers, I was doing like 2.3-2.4s on some bad warped tires....getting that shit to hook was hard, but I know you can do it :) If you could have gotten the drag radials to hook up with a 1.8 on a good clean launch and perfect shifts, you would probally be looking at low 12's.

I just knew that car had 400 in it. I was hoping you'd get there. Don't worry, it just a number. Your times are damn good, and sounds like you will even improve that with tires.

So the VQ is much like the 7m, in that it has little respect, and does just fine if done right?

Its too bad they doen't make a stronger version of the VQ. Its a great engine with a cylinder head design that puts a 2JZ to shame. But the rods are downright weak. And the block needs to be sleeved for 700+rwhp.

Still, 500rwhp at 12-13psi on a Greddy twinturbo kit and a great torque curve is pretty desirable. I can't imagine how insane this motor would be if it was turboed from the factory.

i was running 1.9's 60ft's before the s/c, cause i could go wot in 1st gear..

I think right now the stock bottom end has went 540rwhp/580rwhp is the highest recorded one. It only lasted a couple months though. The rods stretched on that motor.

With some rods, pistons, sleeves. The motor would be golded. The head is great in design.
