I'm pretty excited, Fedex dropped off my order from Champion/Jay Marks Toyota today. Now I can fix a buch of little issues that have been bugging me. I still have a ways to go but this is a good start.

p1515444_1.jpg

I picked up the gaskets to keep the rain water out of my trunk.

The side view mirror moldings to keep the water and wind noise coming in form the windows., and I picked up a new bump stops and door gasket for the rear hatch to stop that damn rattle back there. And there is a few gasket in there to preform a valve stem seal replacement.

As well as many other little bits and pieces. I still have a few squeaks and rattles to chaise down but I'm well on my way now. I'm pretty excited. I love getting new OEM parts. I'm always excited to see what kind of build quality goes into these things.

Edit: thought I might throw the list with part numbers up since I had it handy.

Yeah it was a little over $500. Not bad for how much I got. Champion really gives you a good price, but sometimes they can take a little while to get stuff shipped out.

You can say that again!
I am only 200 miles away, and tipicaly it's one day for UPS.
It's been a week now on my latest order that I entered on their web site, for parts that were on their shelf.

Funny thing is, if you call in the order to Jeff there, the parts come much faster.
Almost like who ever is handling the on-line stuff is sleeping on the job.

Yeah, I didn't post the price since they do change. But here's the ones your looking for, including the needed hardware that I've been told can become damaged during removal.

01 Weather Strip, Backdoor 67881-14110 $59.60
02 Cushion, Back Door Lower Stopper 67293-14030 $12.98 ea.
02 Cushion, Back Door Upper Stopper 67281-20020 $5.30 ea.
04 Standard Part, Bolt 90159-50116 $.65 ea.
02 Standard Part, Bolt 90109-08055 $1.89 ea.

I usually get a rough idea what it's going to cost by going to their website here:

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cfm?siteid=213747

Once I call them they can usually get me a slightly better price, but the lower price usually gets offset in the shipping.

For example:
ITEM.............................P/N..............MSRP..LIST
Weather Strip, Backdoor 67881-14110 $83.29 $63.30

And they charged me $59.60

And just for reference the local Toyota dealership here wanted just under $95

Cool thanks for posting those. A local guy at the dealer here helps out supra owners quoted me $62 for the hatch weather stripping and like $12 for the tail light gaskets, so I'm going to go with him(no shipping). I just wasn't sure if champion could do better or not. Good to know about the hardware too.

MM... YES. I need to get some of those mirror triangle things. When my black car was on the road, I'd have to be very careful when I washed it as I could watch the water shoot right inside the car.

::edit:: Good thinking FT :bigthumb:

No problem, If you can get a good deal defiantly go local. Champion simply has the best deals for me.

I like to do as much of the foot work as possible before hand so when I do call them everything is smooth and simple.

Yeah those are pricey $80.34 ea. But well worth it. I had the same problem as you. I could never go to an automatic car wash because I would get a complementary shower. Here is a pic showing you just how bad they really were.

Hey Dirg let me know if you want to do it over here in the garage. I need to work on a running Supra for a change. lol

I really appreciate the offer Matt, If I'd have seen it earlier today I would have taken you up on it. Luckily it was nice out to day. All I have left is the valve stem seals and associated parts, but because of how long the shipping took I think I'm going to wait until I get down to California to do them. I'm moving down there Monday.

Yeah I always call. Haven't tried to order online yet.

Jeff is pretty cool, and Michael has awlays taken good care of me.

I called Champion before, I talked to two different parts guys on the same part, and I get two different price's. Jeff has always been lower than If I talk to someone else there.

Dirgle did it the smart way he/she got a list together and ordered everything at once, instead like me, I ordered as I could afford it. Thier minumun for shipping is ten bucks. Ten bucks here and there adds up quick.
