Good cheap entertainment is if you have acouple of 1911s. Playing mix and match the barrels and slides can keep you busy for hours.

Ok so i took my Mosin to a sighting in range...had about 10 lellier and bellot rounds and a shitload of surplus hungarian rounds... well the lellier was soft nose round nose stuff and it shot pretty good groups...but the surplus..holy shit....no wonder the hungarian army isn't known as a power house...that shit was all over the paper... 6 inch groups... high and to the left as well...nowhere near the projectory of the lellier...so now i got two boxes of wolf FMJ to finish sighting with....just thought I'd share...

outofstep, I'll be consulting you on what my best options are for guns are, I have to go through the licensing process here still, it's a bit of a hassle...Troubled times are ahead indeed.

I've got a question though...What the hell kind of gun is this? This was down in FL during my vacation, somebody told me but I forgot...

It's a PS-90. The S models are for the civis. Nothing special about the ammunition round at all. Infact, it's rather aenimic.

I knew the round was too small to hold enough powder, but my questionable sources had told me that the rounds were armor piercing, standard. Thus my comment.

Anemic or not, I would think that the huge magazine & cyclic rate make up for it! :evil2:

All rifle ammunition is "armour piercing," 7.62x25 is armour piercing, 10mm is armour piercing, etc etc. 5.7 is the ballistic equivelent of 22mag. Shooting someone with a P-90 is like going after someone with a full auto 10-22. I mean sure its lots of bullets at low recoil, but then again so is airsoft. haha

Hey it seemed pretty special to me...Remember, all we have up here in Canada is harpoons and bows + arrows. :biglaugh:

Yep, PS-90 is still chambered in 5.7.

Being up in canada can you buy a Para Ordnance? Seeing as how they are outa Canada and all.

If so, they have some sweet gun. Their line of 40sw are super simple to convert to 10mm. If you plan on converting though, don't get the LDA, stick with the single action ones.

According to firearmscanada.com, it would seem as though those are available up here...My understanding is we have a wide selection available, it's just that the legalities involved are different than south of the border.
