How the FUCK do I get that damn thing out...I want to put my TT in there but I can't get that mother fucker out...stupid POS. I tried pulling and ended up throwing off the alignment of the lid, and now it doesn't open/close right.

Anyway--any help is greatly appreciated

take the little cover out of the bottom, and there's a screw or two in there holding it to the console.

I took my JDM carpet out cause it was a bit dirty. And I discovered the same thing.

Yeah, shaeff is right. There is a little pice of carpet inside and one screw. You may have to work it to get it out. Kyle's was glued in there with soda spillage.

Mine doesn't open without use of a flathead.

I never used it anyway, except as a cup holder. Cans fit well in there.

I just took the spring out of it, and to open, push on the front of the lid, ahead of the hinge. it'll pop up enough to grab the side of it.

better than it being open all the time.

Mine was good, but broken, and after I got my hands on the central panel and the lid, it became worse....
