stock braking distince mk3 turbo version ???

das anybody now that here?
i am working on a brake kit for 16 inch stock wheels and i would like to now the diffrence before and after when i am finist :biglaugh:
when i am finist i will test it afcource:naughty:

What sort of braking distance were you looking for? 60-0? 70-0? 100-0?

To be honest, I doubt there will be much of a difference. The stock brakes are more than capable of locking up the wheels, unless you're running R compound tires.

Not to say that you can't improve them, but the characteristics you'll be looking for are less fade over multiple hard brake passes and different pedal pressure.

Yep, I can lock up my 225/50/16 Hankook Ventus Rs-3's without a problem. Kind of scary actually, if a deer jumps out and you panic brake things get hairy, ask how I know.

More Mass is always a good thing from a fade perspective, not so much for acceleration/deceleration though ;)

That has to be the newest/cleanest Saw blade I've ever seen! :aigo:

i have 3 other clean sawblades (like new) butt al of them Richt ones.
they have them here offen as a spare wheel that's why it is always a Richt one.

All about finding that balance... Now the fun question though: "are bigger (and heavier, speaking strictly of the rotor here) brakes going to require MORE effort to slow than stock?" I plan on running 10.5-11" wheels up front with some 305-315mm tires up front, so there's going to be a lot of weight up there to bring down... I'm thinking the balance with a ~13" setup should provide a good balance.

No kidding about the sawblade though, couldn't even recognize it without the dirt!

this front brake upgrade you can use the sawblades butt only whith longer 45mm wheelstuds and 20mm wheelspacers .

update info
you need
junior brembo's
brackets
you need hub rings 1mm

i needed spacers and longer wheelstuds becuase off the rims ET.
normally i think not neeeded

i was going to say stopping distances are relative to the tire chosen, therefore unless you preform the before/after on the same tires the comparison is mute...

ex; stock brakes with r-comp tires vs. upgrade brakes with cheapest option tires....

^I would bet on the r-comps/oem brakes....
