Toyota SST's added up to 70 Bucks.

Sorry i forgot to let you guys know, project is still on! ;)

I'll keep updating this as i go.

Steering Rack Bushings, and Subframe bushings are on their way, to my knowledge. (Thanks Clueless.)

If i'm dropping the subframe i'm rebuilding the rack, and that's for sure!

This is probably going to take a while....as i'm going to be outta town for a few days. But i'll discuss rebuilding, the PPS rack!

Update #3:

Spoke with a bud who's a machinist.

Said he'll do it pending some blueprints or sizing of the taper/expansion!

I'm running late.

I'm going to shave and hop in the shower; then onto the road to the bay area!

Update

Got the call today. The Seal Expander SST is discontinued.
One is going to have to be fabbed up; lucky for me i have a guy who will do this for me!

Just put a 400 dollar champion parts order through today; so i didn't order the seal compressor sst's or seal kit from rockauto.com yet. I'd loved to have a toyota rebuild kit if it wasn't disco as well....

Would it be cheaper to just put an aftermarket rack in? I dont really know what they go for. I was thinking about doing this as well, my power steering is a little weak. I already know i need a new pump though. Already rebuilt the pump with new seals to stop it from leaking, but now it whines.

I did mine and just used tools from around the shop. A large socket, large open end wrench, piece of pipe, etc.
