Im in need of some new tranny lines and I'm thinking to go with the steel braided lines. I was wondering where most of you shop to get yours. Im not looking for the best of the best, just something that is the best bang for the buck. I need to replace both lines so I figured thats around 20-25 ft of line?

so let me get this straight.., not looking for best of the best (ie cheap) but the best bang for the buck (real cheap!)?

well you want cheap
buy rubber hose and then buy the stainless steel braid and put it over, done and cheap. How long it will last? you guess is probably as good as mine.

I just checked summit out & the Russell are $98 shipped. The place I had found are $86 Shipped so I just placed my order with them. I'll do a right up on them after there installed.

from all my SS line/fitting exp, the only lines/fittings i'll ever use are aeroquip. easier to assemble, better quality. not to mention the fuel issues w/earl's....

summitracing is the easiest place to get what you need- they always have it and depending on location you'll get it overnight...

i second that. the aeroquip fittings are MUCH easier to work with. the summit fittings bind up. i have used earls fittings (hose ends) cause they were the only ones that had what i wanted, and those went together pretty good aswell.
