That really depends. Are you doing this to make people think you don't have a
Small dick? Then get the biggest one out there and paint it bright green.

If your haveing instability issues at high speed wile breaking? Then read this and decide if you are willing to drop a few grand and go to a wind tunnel to get it adjusted.

Big wings are only rice on slow cars (especially FWD). This isn't rice...

Front wheel drive acually need the wing more than rwd. At least with rwd you can power into a turn and tuck the back end. Fwd you just towing the rest of your car like a kid with a little red wagon.

Um.. what? Yes, let's make the FWD have even worse understeer by unloading the front tires...

i will explain it a bit better so you follow. a rwd car had a weight dis of about 50/50 (about 55/45 for a supra) and that is close to ideal, most of you guys know this because ov this is a site about rwd cars. fwd has a weight dis of about 60/40. adding a spoiler to a fwd car will, at speeds above 80, bring the weight dis of a fwd car closer to that 50/50 that we are looking for.

under steer is a problem with fwd cars and they suffer in the corners if it is not corrected, you correct the under steer but hitting the breaks hard wile entering a corner moving all the weight to the front and letting the back end slide out, this is the same that happens with a rwd car naturally when you accelerate through a turn. controlling this slight shift from under steer to overseer is much easier to do if you have more down force available to apply to the rear wheels thus causing a more balanced weight ratio and in turn giving you more weight to shift. in a rwd car you can control this force this by applying power, in fwd you have to have a feel because once the rear goes to far there is no way to apply more force short of stomping on the gas. and for those who have driven a fwd car you know that the last thing you want to do is stomp on the gas and get that loose feeling in the middle of a fast turn.

now i am not saying that anyone should have a wing unless you are running on the track or nuts enough to take turns above highway speeds, but if you want to have a more balanced weight ratio to your fwd car at high speeds then a wing is one way to do it.

and no i am not a genius i just know how to drive but thanks for the complement :p

Rodel, buddy of mine is thinking of rocking a wing of that nature on his FC, at least roof-height. Granted, we have a spare engine to throw in this thing before that's done, and said engine will have more than adequate power to justify it. ;)

Ha! If you think I might want to stop you don't know me, but if you have something to add or some facts that you want to throw out there then go right ahead, prove me wrong. That is what these forms are all about.
