/\/\ The rears can go low enough if you know how to do it. Mine's as low as I can go w/o rubbing 275s. If i had narrow tires like most people I could go lower too, but you dont want to go TOO low. Where mine sits is just perfect for the LCAs any lower and then you would be altering your rear instant centers to a bad place.

If all you got is $1000 you CANNOT beat Megans. Tein? More expensive and they're not as good as Megan. Tein is like the APC of Japan. The Megans are much more track suited than the Teins.
I know Wiisass would disagree, but his custom setup is super badass, but also costs more. With $1K in your pocket the Megans are your best bang for the buck, and now that i've driven on the track with Megans, i've experienced no poor performance on their behalf. They operated great on the track and helped me pull some high lateral Gs

You guys are aware that unlike the sealed units, coilovers, like ANY other raceparts. should be inspected regularly. I wouls say every 6 months or so. Adjustability and all those features are GREAT, IF you race in different environments and have requirements for that. Otherwise, just like the AEM. In the wrong hand it will make for a poor ride.

Yeah yours is odd.. hahaha. But every one else is having issues with it now going low enough. Do you have a bunch of stuff it back of the car or something?

Nope, just a 12'' JL Audio and a small box. It sits in the spare tire well. It weighs maybe 25lbs if that. Funny thing is I can go a least 1'' lower in the front and back.

About a nice ride for dailying :). I want to make a video of all the pot holes that would eat coilover cars alive here.

Sadly our roads are pretty good compared to IL, although you know its bad when you start naming pot holes and use them as landmarks. I saw one on County Line road the other day that looks like it might be able to do a 3 way makeover on someones car (rim, body and suspension damage).

IL's roads do suck. They toll the hell out of everyone but can't fix their damn roads? Detriots suck as well, but it seems to be getting better there. I think I'm going to make a video today of the road i'm talking about.
