How do you fit aftermarket gauges into the stock panel? I been tryin to do that w/ a boost gauge but its too deep, I'd have to trim the back of the panel, which has the circuit board so that'd be 'no bueno'.

From what I've seen it is possible to cut and solder in extensions into the circuit panel. Here's one guy who did it with 60mm ProSports that did exactly what you don't know how to do yet.

Well I figured thats what had to be done, I was hoping not, I dont want to go f-ing around with the circuit board. I think I know a different way I can do it though, thanks for the info, stay tuned for the finished product
it is extremely easy to solder wires onto the circuit panel...all you really have to do is solder one wire...the others can be attached to existing screws with ring terminals.

Yeah, but you didnt have to cut a hole in the back of your cluster panel for your gauges. I'd have to take and rewire a big chunk of circuit board back there.adampecush;1172315 said:
IJ, your dash is similar to what mine will be once I swap my 2J in. Except instead of an AIM i'll be using an LCD screen plugged into the megasquirt reading and displaying all the outputs. Simply because a Megasquirt and 7" LCD screen are cheaper than a Haltech and AIM dash, lol
