The alarm still goes off with the connectors to the alarm computer unplugged?

I'm thinking maybe you clipped the wrong wire or something.

its light blue and has a bright orange wire running down with it.... weird huh

You don't need to do that.

And you didn't answer my question about the alarm sounding while the connectors are unplugged. The alarm should cease to function completely with those connectors unplugged.

the alarm is still going with those connecters unplugged

but the car has an other aftermarket alarm , could it be that that is making it go still?:(

Sounds like you pulled the wrong piece. The Theft Deterrent Ecu has only ONE connector, and is located near the firewall on the steering column. As I recall, the one in my car was ALL black, no other color writing on it. It should say Theft Deterrent right on it. The wire you're looking for is a dark blue wire with an orange stripe(tracer). Ground that to a GOOD ground.

Yes, it could be the fuse associated with your ignition. It could be due to the aftermarket alarm. And it could be that you pulled the wrong box, and cut the wrong wire. I'm going out to my shed in a few minutes, I will see if I can find one and take a picture.

My bet though, is it is something connected to that AM Alarm.
