A little history on this 1987 Supra turbo. I picked this car up in May of 2008 for $4k. It was completely stock still rolling on sawblades. Everything about it was in awesome shape inside and out. From 2008 to present many pieces on the car have been rebuilt, replaced or refurbished to make it what is today.

Car made 343 whp at 13 psi with the lex afm/550's and no tune last year. Now running speed density tuned to 11.5:1 and 19psi. Still need to dyno but defiantly a 400+ whp car now.

A few of the mod parts

-Mild built 7MGTE
-Marlin Crawler R154
-60 trim CT26
-Maftpro Speed Density (tuned for 19 psi)
-JZA70 Recaro Interior
-JDM 3 pc tail lights
-6000k HID's
-18" FR500 wheels
-K-sport Coilovers

Exhaust. I cant find pics of the tail piece but its pretty low key and tucked up super high so it doesnt scrape.

Suspension

These solid sub frame spacers make a HUGE difference on cornering.
Like wow this was the best suspension up grade next to the coils.

Hella dumped. This was only for shits and giggles

Intercooler and piping. This took me a lot of hours to get everything fitting exactly where I wanted it.
The main goal was to have as little couplers as possible, fit very well and look good.

Looks good man!
Same color as mine:love:

-Sam

The colors may be similar but not the same, Its not a stock color. Has violet mixed in with the paint which changed the look a lot from the grey.

Good too see some of you are liking the pre-89 look :)

Heres a pic of the front end which I prefer over the 89+ front end. Looks so much more aggressive to me.

A little update, Maft-pro just arrived today. Started soldering it into the patch harness I got off a member. Its going to make the install SOO SWEET when I just have to plug it in. No poking my head under the dash and fiddling with shitty connectors.

Im still waiting on the T04e garret compressor wheel for the 60 trim upgrade, rebuild kit and gaskets . Theres a local diesel truck shop that will balance the wheel after I machine it which makes things much easier. This is my little project to see how cheap I can build myself an upgraded CT26.

What shade of silver is that? I think I'm gonna paint mine charcoal grey metallic.

The car was this color when I bought it. Its a metallic silver with violet added too it, something custom Im pretty sure. I tried to find the same color on color cards but no go.

Its been a long time now since Ive updated the build haha. A lot has happened in the past month and a half. Since the 57 trim ct-26 I had shit its bearings out I had another ct-26 built. But a 60 trim this time. Had it done locally at a diesel shop and it turned out very nice.

As some of you may know the 2010 Pacific Northwest Supra nationals were in Vancouver, BC this year. Was an unreal event this year with drag racing, dyno competition and a car show. The car worked incredibly well at the track with a best run of 12.9 sec at 105mph. The next day she went on the rollers and put down 343 whp at 14psi and a stupid rich A/F. I wish the maft-pro unit I have actually worked and wasnt cooked.. Even still I managed to get a trophy for the highest hp 7m of the day which was pretty neat.
