I honestly don't think there's going to be anywhere near the level of interest the 89+ owners put out.. that's just the way I've always seen it.

In any case, I hope SAP does make them because my current one is too tall. I notice some of the ones in the other pics are shorter, and that means more ground clearance while still matching up with the sideskirts, etc.

Just becuase I do not want to cut/fit the one I have, then make a mould, then pull a good one that will take some driveway abuse...

In a previous post, someone mentioned that their pre'89 aftermarket lip was too tall.
I've seen a couple these front lips that seem too tall, and the problem with them is that they don't 'flow' with the bumper.
They seem to create too much vertical aspect at the front and along the sides.
I don't have a pic handy to help illustrate my point, but I hope you can visualize what I'm trying to point out?
Either way, I'm in. I just hope this Bomex style 3 hole lip errors on going shorter than taller.

Yeah, that looks better.
First page or so of this thread, is a red supra with what looks like the same lip. Big difference in the looks of the lip with a lowered car vs stock ride height.
Also not sure if painting the lip red, on a red MK3 is the obvious choice...? Black might be the way to go? Gloss, flat or matte?
