I know this has been asked before but i can't find it when i search:nono: Anyway, my solenoid went out (measured 7 ohms but and when i supply voltage to it i get no click) and i was wondering if there was a way to bypass it so i can at least have some assist with steering without having to buy a whole new rack?
Thx in advance!

I come from a land down under
It doesn't "click" ever... it's not a simple on/off solenoid it drives to a position depending on speed, if you supply it with 12v for too long it will be dead for sure though.

You could probably buy a used non-pps rack from a yard if that's an option, otherwise its gorilla mode for some time ;)

Yeah i figured it's duty cycle controlled to give it pps. I was just trying to follow the instructions according to the TSRM http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=SR&P=94
I think i should probably check if there is any signal coming to the solenoid, i think that may be the issue considering the okay ohm reading(unless the valve is hung up on itself)
As for a used rack.. i wish i could find any junked MK3's around here:O
Thx for the advice:)
