Parts car.. 56k warning 20pics!

I just took pics of a supra for sale as a parts car. Its an 87 but someone put a 90 front bumper on it. (its got the headlight squirters) anyway I took a bunch of pics and would like to know what it may be worth as a parts car. The story I was told about the car is. It had a metal head gasket and a drunk turned the manual boost controller up as far as it would go. poped the hg and then the engine sat appart for a year. The pics show the result of sitting. I was told it was running good before that happened. However I DO NOT know this guy so I can not say all this is true.

Wheres the 90 bumper? Don't pay more then $150, its a pile.

just so you know, the bumper is not an 89+ it's a normal 87, the headlight squirters were an option. The 89+ bumpers come up in the middle and touch the header panel (nose piece w/ squirters)

It looks like the stock bumper most likely

Thats why I posted.. He said 90 bumper . anyway He called me about 40 min after to tell me he found the title and I got him to tell me what he is asking for it. (he kept wanting me to make an offer) He thinks its worth 1,500.00!!! Now im not the best at telling what this stuff is worth but thats crazy!

Ive run into that so many times. Was a similiar car here in Corvallis some time ago, BHG, sat forever, all 4 tires were flat it sat so long...the guy wanted $1500. I laughed and said "I'll give ya $400 and THATS BEING GENEROUS!"
Car was sitting there 2 months later (its since disappeared however, meh)


I would pay 3-400 for that one your looking at, but thats only if those wheels are actually any good up close and all the turbo stuff is still with it. Again, thats being generous.

The passenger front rim has a bad dent in it. It does not look like it will hold air. Here is a closeup of the dent.

I dont particularly want it. The owner came up to me in a parking lot and told me he had it for sale. I just went to see what it looked like. He originally told me "It looks like your supra" so I thought it was an 89.

I have room for a parts car in my back yard. I do want an 89 tho.

Its a turd and beat to hell, maybe worth a couple hundred if you want a spare trans / diff / whatever. I'm with Nate on this one. You would have to pay me to take it.

I have also checked this car out in person and it is deffinatly a beater, not worth much.

umm technically the muffler IS worth at least 100... its a genuine apexi n1 muffler...they go for around 250-300 new

but not when its got sh!t growing on the inside of it and its been sitting with water in it for the past year...
