They say always leave them wanting more, so this will be a slow build thread ;)

The Supra has run well since 2013 despite my rushing into things, largely thanks to many posts on this forum. However, something has felt off for a while and it looks like my luck has finally run out:

Nov 25 Head Gasket.jpg

Machine shop will get the head once I can find one in the Columbus, Ohio area to do cleaning and timeserts on the exhaust studs that came out. I have my own cleaning to do as well on everything else.

The temporary goal is to get the Supra running again with a stock gasket, and wait for warmer weather to pull the engine to get it prepped for metal and ARP studs.

Massive thanks to Jeff and everyone involved in bringing Supramania back, I am very thankful to have this wealth of knowledge and Cygnus-X1 as aids in this rebuild.

Head is back with time-serts and the OEM exhaust studs I bought in 2013 are finally out of the package and living their best life!

Got some cleaning to do, but I can finally start getting ready to reassemble.

Unless your power goal is above 350hp, a Felpro head gasket with ARP's at 75ftlbs will last forever.
Is that 75 with using their lube? I have the undercut head studs because I heard they are better with a composite gasket (mine is Ishino Stone, looks like an OEM). The instructions say 90, but so many threads say 80.

What is the best thing to do?
