I recently had a p-trim that was laying around my shop that had bent fins on just the inducer(from foreign object damage). When I was at my builder I saw an oem turbo off a diesel I think that had this weird "reverse clipping".
Apparently they came Casted like that to improve spool? I'll get more information on that turbo.
Anyway, I figured instead I trashing the p-trim I did a reverse clip like it. Hopefully this will increase spool? Not really to sure about it. Haven't found any information on it. My builder said a lot of the new GT wheels come like this.
