I think they look better without the gigantic caps. They would probably look better resprayed back to silver, but I was messing around.

those are fake momo stars. looks fairly close... my brother used to be a dealer for momo, and I had a set of momo stars on my gti, so i'm very familiar with them. There was a company that made knockoff stars, and momo pulsars.

If you look closely, you can spot the differences right away.

the real wheel has "MOMO" "TUV" etc, cast into the wheel, the fake wheel does not

the real wheel has a smooth lip, the fake has a step lip so you can use the press-fit type wheel weight

the real wheel has a center cap plate that is stepped, the fake wheel is plain and flat

Good pic of the Kaminari whale tale. I love that kit, except for the rear bumper.

The momo starts don't look bad at all.

ive got the origional kaminari sides are rear, and if you do happen to find them.. its a really good fitting kit, fits like a glove
