I've got a set of 7m-gte camshafts from before I rebuilt my top end a few months ago that I'd like to get rid of. They're in good shape, apart from some light surface rust on the lobes and bearings. Are these worth trying to sell, or should I just dump them?

Just try to sell them for cheap. Look at them, and think "what would I pay for these?"

The scoring really isn't that bad at all. A little steel wool and elbow grease and they should be fine. The only reason I'm not using them is I decided to put new cams in since I was strapping a new head on. I think they'd be great for someone doing a rebuild, but I just don't know the market that well.
Neo, did you buy new Toyota cams?

The cams I ordered are stock spec, but I had my mechanic order them and they were shipped directly to him, so I haven't seen them myself. I can try to find the info on them if that would help. I know they cost between $150 and $200 each, but I'd have to poke around to get any more info.

I had heard that the coating was gone on new cams from Toyota, so wanted to verify. Not a big deal.
