Most make a bracket and hang the oil cooler between the IC and A/C condenser, a few place it in place of a fog light and a very small group place it in front of the IC.

With a bigger IC? I'd like to see pics if you've got any.

Besides the remote mount filter, the only non stock item I have in there is my drjonez manual boost controller.

I have a B&M Supercooler that matches two dimensions, but not thickness. The core is twice the size. I will cross that bridge when I come to it my friend.

see the last few posts of my build thread (in sig). This should give you a pretty good example

Actually, that helps a ton. I've got the same size oil cooler and that's pretty much how I planned on mounting it. Thanks!

the amount of space you have depends on the thickness of your IC. Mine is a 3.5" thick core and there was a decent amount of room for the B&M cooler. If you are talking about the hood support/latch, there is usually some cutting required. No modificaton of the bumper support is required.

It took me several hours of thinking and one re-make of my intercooler brackets to allow the oil cooler to fit there. I found those M6X1 threaded holes on the bottom of the rad support to be extremely helpful in the whole ordeal...I used them to mount both the IC and oil cooler.

it does help, how did u mount the intercooler and keep the support? with mine it seemed like it was going to be in the way(test fitted it once, with the engine out and havn't been back at it cuz of an injury)

the intercooler mounts to the two the frame where the front bumber mounts to? you want pics?
