There is only one actual spectator fee this year. We think the drags entry will be $10 for spectators - but this is not yet confirmed. We do not control that gate.

If he wants to eat lunch on the Scenic Drive that will be $20 - $15 if you register and pay for the lunches at the same time.

Actually, the Poker Tournament will also allow for you to pre-pay for your escorted guests,
and they'll also get the same discounted pre-registration rate that you'll get!

With less than 80 days until SILV, I'd like to remind everyone about two things:

-SILV this year is going to be something very special! The organizers have gone out of their way to take the event to a higher level while at the same time keeping the "everybody knows your name" feel & cameraderie that previous SILV's have enjoyed.

...now it's YOUR turn! RSVP today at http://vegas.supras.org/v08
and then PRE-REGISTER! Other than the drags, you'll be able to pre-pay
(at a DISCOUNTED RATE) for all of the events in which you'll participate.
...AND you can pay with a credit card!:icon_razz

-Secondly, do not forget about our 4th Annual SILV Poker Tournament!
Our reigning champ Greg Altig aka suprarossa will be...GET THIS...Flying home to MD from his job in Saudi Arabia, and then hopping in his MkIII (or MkII, he hasn't decided yet) with the lovely Chrissy and DRIVING TO VEGAS!!

You have to either be extremely impressed by this or it may make you feel like playing in the tournament just to beat his sorry A$$ (this coming from a mildly disgruntled 2nd place finisher & current SILV Poker Tournament Coordinator). :rant2:

The time is quickly approaching where advance on-line payments will have to be cut-off,
and with a limited number of seats in the tournament this year (50 MAX), once the seats start to go, they'll go FAST.

Guarantee your spot by pre-registering for SILV '08, and be sure to let us know if you'd like to add a guest to the tourney (up to 3 additional guests are allowed to play with each paid Supra registrant, even at the discounted rate!).

Register for the Show-N-Shine & the other events at this link:
http://vegas.supras.org/v08/register.asp

Register for ONLY the Poker Tournament at this link:
http://vegas.supras.org/v08/poker.asp

SO on Thursday, October 2 2008, Come early to the Dyno for the MKIII SMACKDOWN and the High-Roller MkIV's, and then head to the Luxor that night for the Poker-version of full-contact gamblin'!

See y'all at SILV!

I painted this over the past 2 days. It's 1 piece of steel that replaces the rear liscence plate. I prefer the Anti-Rice side. This will be on at the races and shows.

I am excited to announce that the High Roller Series is starting to pick up steam. We already have three VERY hot Supras signed up and expect a few more in the next 24 hours.

The MkIII Smackdown will also be VERY exciting this year.

These guys are flying in - well the guy from Saudi will be flying to the states (East Coast) and then driving ACROSS THE COUNTRY!

We also have rumors that a Supra may be shipped in from Hawaii again this year. We've seen this Supra in the past but this time it will have a new paint scheme - and likely other changes.

You DON'T want to miss Duane and Tony lining up at the Drags - or battling it out on the dyno!

I think Ken Henderson put it best recently over on SF...

Crazy Saudi's. I remember the guy from Hawaii. His Supra was featured a couple years ago (and is NOX bottle was stolen while being shipped over). Very nice ride. IIRC he was a civilian contractor for the military there in Hawaii (based on the window decal).

Crazy Saudi's...

They may be, but Greg A. is not Arabian.

He IS, however, the defending SILV Poker Tournament CHAMPION,
so he's bustin' his behind from MD to LV in either his MkII or his VERY
nice '92 MkIII to defend his title.

If you'll be over 21 yrs old on October 2, 2008, SIGN UP for our annual
SILV Poker Tournament at the following link:

I suck at poker, big time. And I can't afford the extra $250 for the poker game.
 huh ???

Uh, the Poker Tournament buy-in is just $81, not $250.

Where did you get that crazy, grossly-incorrect information??

Oh, and if you suck at poker AND you're over 21:

PUULLLEEEZZE Play!

OK... this is interesting. I just went out to the hotel website to make sure our rates are still better than the regular rates. They don't have ANY non-group-rate rooms available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

Remember... our group rates expire on August 30. After that time I can't guarantee our special rates or that there will even be any rooms available at any price at the hotel.

Does anyone know the exact location the show and shine event is going to take place? I live in Vegas and would love to check it out..unfortunately, I'm new to SILV and I have no idea where the location is at. Any help would be appreciated.
