Finally got my lower qtr glass moldings, both were damaged... Looked like some PDC tard folded them to fit inside the tote. Ordered another set and they came in fine.

Man someone deserves a serious backhander for destroying parts that are now becoming increasingly rare and precious :-(

Funny thing was, in the notes for the damage claim I put "part was severely damaged, looks like some lazy person folded it in half to fit inside shipping tote."

Ordered new hood seals yesterday, the one that goes across the radiator support and the one that goes across the firewall in back. Guy at Champion called me today to let me know the rear seal is discontinued. Know where I might be able to buy one from Jeff? Or does anyone know of a different remedy that could work? I'm not beyond home-brewing something if it's the last resort...

Does anybody have the Nippondenso part number for the alternator rectifier? I could have sworn it was on the rectifier, and now I don't see it. Not the regulator bolted to it, the rectifier. The rectifier fits many cars, not just ours. I had it this summer, and don't know what I did with it.

In many cases, the technology and factories used to make the part no longer exist. Especially true of the electrical stuff. That means they would have to re-engineer the part, and the economics just don't add up given the small volumes.

Nooo Q.Q why.... I guess things aren't forever Q.Q. It's unfortunate. I might have to resort to making mk3 replicas... when they become obsolete arrgh.

If i ever win the lottery I'd invest my money on re-maning(if thats the correct term) the discontinued things I'd need.

Looks like it's time for me to raid my local junkyard. A few weeks ago, they had 3 pre-89 supras, all w/ good tail lights, side moldings, rear glass, etc. The only thing that was bad on one of them was the compressor blades on the CT26 was chewed to hell.

I just want a part number. I had the dash out, and heard something drop. It was the bulb for the oil pressure gauge. Damn...

Cygnus lists 5 part numbers, when I can't believe there are 5 different bulbs with 3 matching gauges size wise. I don't want to pull it out again until I have the bulb. So which one?

00234-00158; 83109-24010; 83109-24020; 90981-11018; 00234-00158

The only BNIB CT26 in the USA is at Toyota in Anaheim, CA Going for $3800 IIRC

Is there a market for used CT26's in good condition? I have two that spin good. One came off my car, and ran 98 in the quarter at 13 psi. The other was a spare off a parts car and the bearing spins good as I said.

if its just the bulb, and not the holder, then the bulb is a 74, same as your glove box, keyring, and footwell light bulbs

License plate lights are the same for 89+. Can still get the gaskets at toyota as well.
