no suspension

has anyone ever tried to move an mkiii on just wheels and tires and no struts and springs. just wondering if its possible.

the reason im asking is im buying a shell tha has not wheels or struts. i have extra wheels to put on it, just wandering if il be able to get it on a trailor without struts or is just going to bottom out.

Jack it up and wedge some blocks of wood between the suspension arms and the subframes.

Would have to be a fair size block to compensate for the spindles falling inwards wouldnt it? Or maybe my thinking is really flawed from never trying it.

Double A Arm suspension front and rear the spindles don't "fall in"

Thats what I get for being up too late and thinking too hard. Was thinking about macpherson strut suspension.
