there's your problem... ;)

Check your plug wires, make sure they arent saturated... They may look dry, but they can act like a sponge...

Second, you said you werent pulling codes, but it sounds like it may be an afm issue... Perhaps when you were installing your filter, the afm plug came loose, or fell out... Or it may have a loose wire...

well when i was installing the apexi filter I accidently hit the honeycomb on the afm and it kind of pushed the mesh together not sure if it makes a difference or not but whats the best way to empty all the coolant out around the plugs without taking everything apart

screwed up honeycomb = bad AFM

water in plug valley = bad misfires

well I mean the honeycomb doesn't have a hole or anything just a little dent in the middle but if that's the problem I can change cuz luckily I have an extra 1 laying around thanks that sucks though I thought about that but wasn't sure if it would make that much of a difference thanks alot for the heads up

I'd say the coolant with the plugs and wires is your problem. If you have a wet/dry vac, use that. Or if you can drive to the closest car wash that has the high power vacumes, use those. Or if you don't have either, a towel and screw driver. But, I would change out the plugs and wires.

As for the honeycomb, I don't think that it would make that big of a difference. But like Jake said, maybe the plug is loose or your AFM electronics are bad.

the honeycomb straightens the air so it can properly make the vortex that read the airflow, if it's screwed up, the vortex won't work right and it will read wrong or not at all...

What those guys said... Sorry I couldnt reply fast enough... ;) My comp is a retard and now and then it likes to reboot for no reason...

Replace the honey comb, to be safe... Use a wet/dry vac and/or lots of good paper towels, then let air dry over night at least if not longer... Make sure to remove the valley cover, its being held down by 4 14mm allen head bolts...

Alright but just wondering how do you remove the honeycomb from the afm without damaging anything cuz I would much rather change the honeycomb than the other afm I have in my garage becuase it's so dirty and the one in my car is in great condition except for what I did today thanks alot
